As a parent governor, I see my role as helping the governing board understand the perspectives of parents and carers, and supporting strong, open relationships between the school and its wider community.

From the first time we stepped into Deptford Green, we knew this was a school and community we wanted our children to be part of. Its inclusive values, strong creative ethos, and commitment to enabling young people from all backgrounds to thrive strongly align with our own. As a parent, I am passionate about supporting pupils to build confidence, curiosity, and belief in what is possible for them.

I have worked in the creative industries for over 30 years, including a decade in senior leadership roles at Nike and working globally across design, innovation, and manufacturing. Today, I run my own creative studio, supporting teams and leaders to collaborate effectively and build future-ready ideas. I bring a practical, thoughtful, and collaborative approach to governance, and I am committed to supporting the school in helping every student reach and exceed their potential.
