I have been a Governor at Deptford Green School since 2019, starting as a Parent Governor and now as an Associate Governor.

I am currently retired after over 42 years of nursing in the NHS, the past 35 years in Mental Health. I have worked in both front line nursing and senior strategic leadership roles. 

I was born and brought up in the Lewisham Borough and have seen first-hand how much the Borough has developed.

 I enjoy being a Governor at the school and I am pleased with the direction the school is taking. I hope to use my knowledge,  skills and experience to support the school to achieve its goals and enable students now and in the future to reach their full potential.
