DG Enrichment Activities Summer 2022
It’s been another tremendous month for our pupils getting stuck into their Enrichment activities! Our Masterchef 2022 competition is in full swing and pupils have already completed the first round! This week pupils are competing in the second round – the dessert round and we have had some incredible efforts already in the year 7 & 8 comp!
Our Step Into Dance Programme has started to gather pace and pupils that attend are learning cool, street dance routines while keeping fit and socialising! Shawn, our wonderful coach, has been highly impressed so far and we look forward to continuing to work with him for the rest of the year! Even Mr Couzins had a little go last week…!
We had our first basketball fixture in years recently too and our boys turned in an exceptional performance to stay within 5 points of a St Matthew’s team that is in the top 4 of the country! We lost 35-30! We cannot wait for the next one…!
Our year 9 & 10 girls football team play their last fixture of the season on Wednesday, good luck girls!
Our year 9 and our year 10 Sports Championships will reach their thrilling conclusions before the end of the academic year and our year 7 & 8 winners will receive their medals and trophies for their amazing efforts too.
