We have had the pleasure of working closely with Colfe’s Sixth Form since, in 2014, Wafi became the first Deptford Green student to obtain a full Leathersellers scholarship.

Wafi then attended The University of Warwick and continued to receive financial support from The Leathersellers' Company (one of the Livery Companies of the City of London) before graduating with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering in 2020.

Many Deptford Green students have since gained full scholarships at Colfe’s, going on to study at Russell group universities and Cambridge.

We are immensely proud of our alumni Colfe’s scholars starting their degree this year:

• Natalie is studying Geology at Bristol
• Favor is studying Physiotherapy at King’s College London
• Manjul is studying Physics with Astrophysics at Bath

We continue to work with Colfe’s on a variety of enrichment activities and are currently offering Latin to Year 9 students, a citizenship project to Year 10 students and Oxford University workshops and visits to Year 8 and Year 10 students. More activities coming up so watch this space!
