Is there anything more enjoyable than losing yourself in a great book, putting yourself in someone else’s shoes, venturing off to far-flung lands? At Deptford Green we definitely love to read, and all students are expected to have a reading book with them at all times.
The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) has teamed up with Deptford Green School to encourage schoolchildren to interact with local police through a boxing project.
Anti-Bullying Week is coordinated In England and Wales by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and takes place from 15 to 19 November 2021, this year the theme is One Kind Word.
Deptford Green has a strong history with the Young Mayor of Lewisham, with two of our former alumni winning the election and serving successful terms in office.
Well done to our Year 9 students who took part in an anti-racism event led by the Lewisham Young Mayor team.
‘Proud to Be‘ was the theme for BHM 2021 and proud we were of a fabulous night celebrating Black achievement and culture with 200 guests which included students, family and friends.
