"I am excited to be an Associate Governor at Deptford Green, in supporting the Governing Board with the strategic direction of the school and helping students achieve their full academic, creative and personal potential before going out into the world.

My first impression of Deptford Green, before my daughter even arrived here, was very positive, how enabling of each child, supportive of every endeavour, and in celebrating the diversity and creativity of their community. That impression has strengthened as my daughter makes her way through the school, developing confidence and abilities, encouraged by a committed team of teachers and other professionals.

I have worked in the arts for nearly 30 years, in senior management and consultancy roles in photography, contemporary art and fine art for galleries, museums and commissioning agencies. Today I am a freelance cultural communications consultant, helping bring audiences to exhibitions and festivals, attract critical reviews and highlight the important work of arts organisations. I have seen individuals from all backgrounds develop and progress in fulfilling careers as artists, curators, producers, technicians and administrators, and many other rewarding roles. I hope to benefit Deptford Green with my hands-on knowledge, skills and experience from this exciting sector."
