Welcome to Deptford Green School
Deptford Green is a successful, popular and pioneering state school. Our students attain excellent academic results because they make the most of the experiences and opportunities available.
We are in the top 10% of schools nationwide for progress made between Year 7 and Year 11. Nearly a quarter of students achieved 10 or more A*- C grades at GCSE this year and 15% of students achieved an outstanding 5 or more A* and As showing the continued success of our Gifted and Talented programme.
Our students form positive relationships, develop resilience and take responsibility for their learning and for their role in the community. They strive to achieve their best in all they do. They are proud of the school, they enjoy their learning and they love being here.
Our highly committed staff and dedicated governors share a passion for excellence in comprehensive education. Our parents are extremely supportive of the school and fully engaged in their child's learning.
With outstanding teachers, a 21st Century Curriculum, superb new buildings and resources and an aspirational International 6th Form opening in Sep 2012, we provide a first class education for every Deptford Green student.
