Tips for parents:

Before your child starts school:

  • Time how long it takes to get from your house to school
  • Work out with your child what time they will need to get up to ensure that they are on time
  • Agree a bed time for school days

When they start:

  • Bring your child to school on the first day, or first few days
  • Keep your copy of their timetable. Display this at home so that you and your child can refer to it
