Sports Day 2017

Sports Day 2017 was another huge success with 4 year groups competing for 2 trophies on the day, year group winners and sports day winners. This year’s event was made even more prestigious, as it was held at the Crystal Palace athletics stadium and our pupils certainly stepped up to the mark. The levels of participation and performance were exceptional with some outstanding performers on the day, Delvecchio (Year 7), Goodness (Year 8), Racheal (Year 9) and Naima (Year 10) to name but a few.

Each winner on the day celebrated with a gold medal, which the top performing tutor group received a year group trophy. The overall sports day winners were very close, between Year 7 and Year 8 in particular, as they were the year groups with the highest levels of participation.

Although it was tight, it was the Year 8 who took the top spot as they were the loudest and proudest on the day showing the best support for their year group. Well done year 8! We now look forward to another successful sporting year and of course sports day 2018.
