Free Support & Information Day for Parents - Metro - posted 11th Oct

Our school is part of METRO Charity’s Anti-Homophobic, Biphobic and Transphobic Bullying Project. METRO Charity provide health, community and youth services across London and the South East, and their Anti-Bullying Project works with staff, students and parents in over 300 schools like ours. They have been working closely with us to help celebrate diversity; eradicate homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying, and raise awareness.

We are planning to launch a new association for parents, carers and teachers (PCTA) at Deptford Green School on Thursday 11th October at 6.30pm
The key purpose of this new group will be to enable parents and carers to get more involved in the school and support DGS with fundraising, organising social activities and improving school links with the local community.

Deptford Green Actors Company presents Spring Awakening - posted 9th May

Invitation to Spring Awakening Deptford Green Actors Company.

For this year’s summer production Deptford Green Actors Company will be putting on Spring Awakening an alternative rock musical set in late 19th Century Germany. The story of teenage angst and awakening explores the consequences of repression, and being given "no way to handle things" By authority figures within these characters lives.

City Hall Feminism Trip Report, Sonny Breeze (April 2018) - posted 30th Apr

On Wednesday 18th of April, a group of DG students from the Feminist Society were lucky enough to visit City Hall to join an event marking 100 years since some British women secured the vote. The event, hosted by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, was joined by the Prime Ministers of New Zealand and Canada, Jacinda Arden and Justin Trudeau, who Khan described as two of the world's leading feminists.
