"I am delighted to be the elected staff Governor at Deptford Green School.

I have been a member of staff at Deptford Green since 2020 as a member of the pastoral team, supporting pupils to be able to access all that the school has to offer by setting high expectations, awarding praise, and encouraging collaboration. I have worked in South London Secondary Schools for two decades and am proud of the work I do and the impact we can make to the lives of young people as a team.

I hope to be the voice of the staff on the Governing Body and to represent our collective vision and lived experiences of being a staff member at Deptford Green to ensure that we can all continue to make a positive difference in the lives of young people."

As the Head of Year 7, I work closely with Mr. Josephs on transition and have a passion for ensuring our young people feel safe, challenged and have a great foundation for their journey in secondary school. Along the way we celebrate progress and our school values, acknowledging and rewarding every student for their individuality. Our 12-point transition process ensures all students feel safe and feel a sense of belonging from the day they receive our offer letter in March."
