Thursday 7th March 2019 is World Book Day 

Pupils are allowed to dess up as Book Characters. However, they cannot come in their own clothes. It has to be a recognisable character. They are welcome to bring the book with them.

Envision - Community Programme - posted 24th Jan

Envision - Community-Apprentice Programme

On Tuesday 15th January 2019, 15 Year 10 students from Deptford Green School were invited to the launch of Envision’s Community-Apprentice programme, a 13-week inter-school competition across Lewisham. The competition requires each team to run an awareness-raising and fundraising project for their chosen charity in their school and a partner business. They will receive support along the way from a dedicated team of business mentors from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, as well as weekly in-school guidance from their Envision Coach. Throughout the programme the young people develop key employability skills such as confidence, determination and teamwork.
