The week was launched with a thought-provoking assembly led by five of our Year 10 female leaders. They confidently read and shared the magnificent poem by Maya Angelou, 'Phenomenal Woman', a poem that celebrates the power and vulnerability of being a woman. During lunchtimes, the Year 10's encouraged students to take selfies with the campaign's strap line, and we explored different ideas around gender bias and stereotyping which led to some deep and interesting discussions.
