Welcome to Deptford Green School

It is an extremely exciting time to be joining Deptford Green School in New Cross. In September, we moved into our fantastic new building that has been specifically designed to meet the demands of the 21st Century and which offers our staff and students access to the best educational facilities in London. It’s an inspirational environment to be working in and impacts on all aspects of students’ learning.

I joined the school as Executive Head teacher in February of this year. It quickly became apparent to me that the school has a team of staff, students and parents who are determined to make the school outstanding across all areas. There is a real passion for learning and a strong commitment to the local community. The International 6th form, with its links across the globe, was also launched this year and offers our students a pathway into the top universities.

The partnership that we are entering into with Conisborough College is very exciting as it offers staff and students the opportunity to work collaboratively in pursuit of outstanding school outcomes. Through sharing best practice across both schools we will secure the very best outcomes for our students. Deptford Green students are proud of the progress they are making and they also recognise the importance of making a contribution to their local community.
